If you value and support the retention of a community library, why not join our team of volunteers?
Our aim is to assist the librarian and ensure that a visit to our library is a pleasurable experience. Hours are flexible and training is provided. Shifts are for three hours and tasks range from:
- Shelving and finding books
- Assisting users in the management of their accounts
- Activities such as children’s story time
- Reserving individual’s requests
There is a role for everyone!
We enjoy engaging with our community (it’s a great way to meet people) and we keep in touch through our monthly newsletter.
